Son of the illustrious Beatles guitarist, Dhani Harrison has already released two EPs and three albums, including the soundtrack for the film “Beautiful Creatures” with his band thenewno2, as well as an acclaimed album under the name Fistful of Mercy (comprising Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur). He also appeared on “Brainwashed,” his father's posthumous Grammy-winning album in 2002. But this is the first time Harrison will release an album under his own name. Described as “echoing his influences as a composer,” IN///PARALLEL is more of a sound painting, an electro-rock psychedelic odyssey, than a classic album. Like the first single from this solo work, “All About Waiting,” the ten songs follow one another in a calm but dense atmosphere, elevated by wild drum patterns and “stratospheric” vocals.
