Recorded live in July 1967 at Copenhagen's legendary Jazzhus Montmartre, this recording features tenor saxophonist Dexter Gordon and his quartet (pianist Kenny Drew, bassist Niels Pederson, and drummer Albert "Tootie" Heath) at the peak of their powers. Two of the highlight tracks from this swinging set ("But Not for Me" and "Take the 'A' Train") are over ten minutes long, offering Gordon the opportunity to unleash his full creativity.
