Established in 1997 by Josh Homme, leader of Queens Of The Stone Age, The Desert Sessions is a musical collective that has featured many artists such as PJ Harvey, Mark Lanegan, Troy Van Leeuwen, Ben Shepherd, and more. The Desert Sessions aims to bring together different artists to compose an entire album in one week at Rancho de la Luna studio, in the heart of Joshua Tree.
