Dutch symphonic metal pioneers DELAIN are venturing into new spheres with their highly anticipated new album, Dark Waters, set for release on February 10, 2023, via Napalm Records. This brand-new offering marks a new chapter in the band's history and showcases the creation of keyboardist, founder, and main songwriter Martijn Westerholt with a fresh lineup. Original guitarist Ronald Landa and original drummer Sander Zoer rejoin the band and solidify DELAIN's continuity, while new members – the formidable Diana Leah (vocals) and Ludovico Cioffi (bass) – continue to evolve their sound. Dark Waters follows up on the band’s chart-breaking album Apocalypse & Chill (2020), by incorporating the genre's most refined sounds. DELAIN's renowned orchestral arrangements, underlined by modern nuances, set new standards and manifest the five-piece at the top of the scene.
