Degiheugi presents his 11th album Endless Smile 2, conceived as a tribute and a sequel to Endless Smile (2015). The project marks a return to basics: mostly instrumental compositions built around sampling, enriched with organic textures inspired by the 1970s.Recorded between 2023 and 2025 in his Endless Smile Records studio and mixed by Mr Gib, the album offers a warm and sunny atmosphere, tinged with the melancholy characteristic of the artist.The opening track, The Last Opening, serves as a true gateway into this universe blending keyboards, brass, and guitars.The tracks explore several influences: reggae (Ain''t Goin Down), funk and tropical (Vem O Mar with Hugo Kant), Brazilian vibes (Ipanemax, Ouh Baby), oriental touches (Savoir Danser), or cumbia-dub fusion (Juanita Bonita).
