This 2023 album by the rap trio Death At The Derby was entirely produced by Finn, a Toronto-based producer. Comprising 11 tracks, "Capitano" pays homage to the most respected and legendary captains in football.Inspired by their previous album "Ballon D'Or" released in 2020, this LP is both their first official opus and the second installment of their "Club & Country" series. The third and final season of this series celebrates derbies around the world, and this album marks a new step in their international rise.With tracks signed by their resident DJ, DJ Dubplates, this project offers a rare and raw blend of hard-hitting underground productions, refined samples, high-level lyrics, and a genuine passion for football. From El Salvador to Romania, via Northern Ireland and Argentina, the lineup is impressive. Organized around the players' jersey numbers, this star-studded ensemble shines brightly.
