The new album from the Melbourne-based Noise band. This year marks the arrival of *Pain*, Deaf Wish's first album since their ephemeral reformation in Melbourne. This miraculously dissonant album showcases the band at its best. It brings back the wild side that made their early records so vibrant. *Pain* was composed under ideal conditions, as the band members were able to spend much more time together. All tracks were recorded in a maximum of three takes, then the album was mastered by Mikey Young. "We've grown up and managed to turn a corner," says Tjhung, the band's guitarist.
