"All The Old 45s - The Very Best of Deacon Blue" coincides with the UK and Ireland tour of the same name and traces the multi-million selling band’s story from their earliest songs composed in a Glasgow basement ("Chocolate Girl" and "Dignity"), through their explosion into the mainstream ("Wages Day" and "Real Gone Kid") and their Bacharach and David homage ("I'll Never Fall In Love Again") to the fan favourite single ("Your Swaying Arms"). The collection also includes one of Deacon Blue's most important songs, which followed their 1994 split and the loss of two original members: the 2012 comeback single "The Hipsters," which revitalised the band and launched the second act that saw them more enthusiastic and prolific than ever.
