This third album of unreleased songs in four years pushes the intrepid folk legend in a new musical direction, with a deep and moving groove sound.
The musicians of Sky Trails are saxophonist Steve Tavaglione, bassist Mai Agan, drummer Steve DiStanislao, and Crosby's son, and multi-instrumentalist James Raymond (also the album's producer).
Throughout the sixty years of an unparalleled career, the Californian has created songs that resonate as undeniable cultural references for more than three generations, not only as a solo artist but also as a founding member of the Byrds, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. He has collaborated with dozens of artists, including Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, David Gilmour, Phil Collins, Elton John, and Carole King.
