50TH ANNIVERSARY HALF-SPEED REMASTERED VINYL This new pressing of THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS was created using a 192kHz restoration of the original Trident Studios master tapes, with no additional processing during the transfer, and then cut on a Neumann VMS80 lathe. The half-speed vinyl was cut by John Webber at AIR Studios. THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS is the album that catapulted David Bowie onto the international stage. 50 years after its release, it remains an essential album whose aura grows every year.
