This record has a unique history, a precursor to The Human League’s legendary album "Dare," and is the early work of Dave Allen, who would later become the producer of major Cure albums and a significant part of English music at its peak. In a period of great change, from punk to the advent of synthesizers, the young Dave Allen, in charge of setting up this new equipment for the recording of "Dare," amused himself like a child by replaying his old punk band's songs with instruments that are now musical markers of an entire era. The result is 9 tracks with undiminished freshness, as if a whole history of music had begun there, in that studio. We at THEMSAY are proud to present these recordings for the first time.
