The British band DARK HEART, formed in the early 80s, released their first album Shadows of the Night in 1984 on Roadrunner Records, before splitting up at the end of the NWOBHM era without ever releasing a second record. Over the years, the band achieved a true cult status. Its founder Alan Clark then continued his career with Change OfHeart, establishing himself as one of the pillars of British AOR/rock. In 2024, DARK HEART is reborn with a new project, offering a modern and mature hard rock, still rooted in classic metal but freed from NWOBHM. Surrounded by guitarist Nick Catterick, influenced by Gary Moore, John Sykes or George Lynch, Alan Clark delivers a powerful comeback, driven by assertive songwriting and guitar work already praised for its playing and distinctive sound.
