"To celebrate the 10th anniversary of his first album, Tigre returns for the very first time on vinyl! “It’s the song of anger” shouts the singer of Darcy in “Bile Jaune,” the eponymous title of the EP released at the end of 2011. This is the best way to summarize the sound of Darcy. Discovered as the opening act for No One Is Innocent, Mass Hysteria, or Luke, the Rennes-based band presented their first album, titled Tigre, in 2016. Darcy digs up the hatchet: the sound is rock, sometimes punk, and the singing is spoken, rapped, or shouted to convey its message and tell stories. The words are raw, often crude, to deliver the uncompromising observation of a generation overwhelmed by its surroundings. So, take note! If silence is golden, then noise is Darcy!"
