Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov devotes his new album Transcendental to the Concert Etudes of composer Franz Liszt. Beyond technical virtuosity, the composer wrote each of his works with the aim of evoking extreme emotions. Famous for his playing with bewitching technique, the 25-year-old young prodigy brilliantly rises to all this complexity, to the point of being considered by Le Figaro as "one of the best ambassadors of the composer of the Transcendental Etudes." Daniil Trifonov stands out as one of the most brilliant talents of the young generation of pianists. Martha Argerich particularly noticed him at the Tchaikovsky Competition, where he won first prize in 2011, presented by Valery Gergiev, who highlighted his exceptional talent.
