"I really wanted to capture that joyful energy and lightness that you find in some of those great 60s albums," he explains, referencing Quincy Jones's works, including the soundtracks for *The Italian Job* and *Big Band Bossa Nova*. "They have a really fun vibe, but are still musically interesting, with a lightness and great positive energy."
