Noted from a young age for his warm and elegant tone, remarkable technique, and depth of interpretation, he presents a recital with pianist Mikhail Pletnev in this new album. The duo performs works by Grieg, Franck, Shostakovich, and Shor/Pletnev. "It was my dream to record an album with Mikhail Pletnev, one of the greatest pianists in history and one of my favorite musicians. With Grieg's Sonata, we pay homage to the legendary recording by Kreisler and Rachmaninov.
