Description

Third album by Danakil recorded between Kingston and Bamako. It is on the "sacred" lands of Reggae that the group sought inspiration and collaborations. Recorded between the renowned Tuff Gong studios in Kingston and Manjul in Bamako, this album features collaborations with internationally acclaimed artists. The famous Jamaican singjay U-Roy will be featured on the single: "Non je ne regrette rien" with the participation of Sticky Thompson, the last percussionist of the legendary Bob Marley. There is also an exclusive duet with fathers and sons Winston and Matthew Mc Annuff. Traditional African choirs and instruments also harmonize the whole, giving this album a very particular color. Oscillating between reggae and world music, "Echos du Temps" opens up to other horizons... Influenced by urban culture, Balik delivers a rhythmic and fluid "flow," bringing a certain originality to the writing.
