Dan Sartain's new album, a follow-up to 2014's "DudesBlood". While Dan's stated influences were Suicide and Alan Vega, "Century Plaza" tackles another aspect of his influences: English synth-pop from 1980-1984 in general, and Depeche Mode in particular. While the shadow of synthesizers and metronomic beats hover over this new record, "Century Plaza" could have made a perfect soundtrack for "Blade Runner" or Carpenter's "Escape from New York"!
