Defined as "a journey into the most dreamlike corners of techno" by The Fader and as "a psychedelic masterpiece" by Vice, since the release of their last album in 2015 the band has traveled the world with their highly immersive show, opened for Roisin Murphy, and performed at Glastonbury and Melt! (among others). Heart of Sky was recorded at Monastic Studios, Lazarus's personal setup overlooking the Mugello mountains in the heart of Tuscany. It combines the artist's cosmic influences with his love for 80s soul/funk. "The world music influence is still there, but it's more subtle," explains Lazarus. A record that, according to its creator, "is not for techno purists"; addressing a broader audience, at the intersection of club music and alternative pop, to be enjoyed both on the dance floor and in the mind.
