American DJ Coyote Clean Up defines his music as "headphone house." An outsider by age and looks, Christian Jay Sienkiewicz had the "luck" to grow up in Detroit and attend art school with Jimmy Edgar, who, at the time, was throwing big parties with Juan Atkins and DJ Assault. Discovered with a dub remix of Peaking Lights, he also claims the influence of My Bloody Valentine. Very 90s and very rainy, the first track from his debut LP on 100% Silk - a "listening house" label if ever there was one - evokes, first and foremost, that rainbow house music which was as much for dreaming as for dancing, and which influenced everything (rock, pop, and noise) back when ecstasy was the drug of choice worldwide.
