The Cowboy Junkies present *Open to Beauty*, a compilation of tracks taken from their albums released since the beginning of the 21st century. This "Best Of" will include tracks selected from the albums Open, One Soul Now, Early 21st Century Blues, At The End of Paths Taken, Renmin Park, Demons, Sing In My Meadow, The Wilderness, All That Reckoning, Songs of the Recollection and Such Ferocious Beauty. Michael Timmins, member of the Cowboy Junkies, states: "We have now spent more than 25 years in this century, the beginning of which saw us leave the world of major record labels to return to music creation as an independent group. So we thought it was the perfect time to look back, reassess and reflect on the music we have recorded over these two and a half decades, hence Open to Beauty - The Best of the 21st Century." The timeless power of the Cowboy Junkies' music was recently confirmed when their iconic interpretation of Lou Reed's "Sweet Jane" was featured in the latest episode of the Netflix television series Stranger Things.
