Description

Corde's music is a state of mind, a filmic sparkle, an expression. One inevitably thinks of the compositions of the late Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett) when he was a one-man band equipped with his boss rc-300. It’s easy to imagine, summoned alongside him, Andrew Bird for his uncompromising folk, and Sarah Neufeld for her raw melodies and embodied traits. We want our music to be as immersive as what Ez3kiel, François De Roubaix, and Agnès Obel can offer, with the ambition to make you experience naval battles up close, dives into the abyss, encounters with impressive mammals, and to present snippets of life from stranded migrants.
