Description

Inspired by the novel by Alexandre Dumas, Didier Barbelivien signs here a Historic Musical in the colors of France in 1793. Marie-Antoinette (Kareen Antonn) locked in the Temple prison awaits her trial. The Chevalier de Maison Rouge (Didier Barbelivien) has sworn to free her at any cost. A lieutenant of the National Guard, Maurice Lindet (Mickaël Miro), who is in charge of monitoring Marie-Antoinette and whose passion for the young royalist Geneviève Dixmer will lead him to become an accomplice in a plot to free the Queen. His friend Lorin (Slimane), a republican soldier like him, who has an unwavering friendship for Maurice and who will defend him to the end of the adventure, regardless of all his convictions. Geneviève Dixmer (Aurore Delplace), who falls in love with Maurice Lindet during an arrest and who will lead him to betray the Republic out of love for her. Martin (Valentin Marceau), finally, a young anarchist who is unaware of himself, thrown into the suburbs of Paris amid the Terror that is settling in on this March 10, 1793. Everything intertwines, everything clashes, political commitments like love vows, we love ardently in that spring because the next day we may have ceased to live. Didier Barbelivien has translated this adventure into songs and Stéphane Bern has come to lend his expertise in the role of the storyteller.
