Coldplay’s A Rush of Blood to the Head is now available as a transparent EcoRecord. Each injection-moulded vinyl disc is manufactured, on average, from nine recycled plastic bottles. The EcoRecord offers comparable sound and visual quality to a traditional vinyl, but is made from 100% recyclable PET, instead of PVC. The injection moulding technology allows for up to 85% energy savings compared to the classic vinyl manufacturing process. Released in 2002, A Rush of Blood to the Head is Coldplay's second studio album, co-produced by the band and Ken Nelson. It includes the singles In My Place, Clocks, The Scientist and God Put a Smile Upon Your Face.
