The project brings together an impressive team of musicians and vocalists including: Roots Manuva, Junior Reid, Lee Scratch Perry, and Ce'Cile among others, and was recorded between London, Ramsgate, Jamaica, and Los Angeles (where the co-producer and heavyweight of dance Dave Taylor (Switch \u0026amp; With You) is now based). Toddla T also contributed to the production of 2 tracks. 'Outside The Echo Chamber' is a call to the British musical melting pot. At the heart of the project, we also find long-time collaborators of On-U Sound, Skip McDonald on guitar and Doug Wimbish on bass. These two were part of the 'house band' of the pioneering rap label Sugar Hill and contributed to some key albums of the era such as Grandmaster Flash's \"The Message\" among others.
