Black Boogie Neon
Description
Cola Boyy, alias Matthew Urango, is a 28-year-old musician from Oxnard, California, discovered at a concert in Los Angeles in June 2016. Cola Boyy is an atypical and self-taught musician. His natural voice is the result of a birth disability. His deviant disco songs sing of love and the happiness it brings, while letting through the rage of a militant crooner with a different physique. The entire EP, recorded between Los Angeles and Paris and produced by French musician Nit, is a raw testament to his talent, an appetizer for an album to come in 2019. The cover of this EP is a collective work by Mrzyk & Moriceau (Air, Sebastien Tellier) and Robert Beatty (Ariel Pink, Tame Impala). Cola Boyy opened for MGMT's US tour last March, and will be on the bill with them again in Europe this summer.Buy Black Boogie Neon at the best price
