The first album by the Norwegian band Coffin Storm, titled "Arcana Rising", presents an epic heavy doom metal featuring Apollyon (Aura Noir), Bestial Tormentor (Infernö) and Fenriz of Darkthrone on vocals. Recorded in various studios in Norway, under the supervision of Apollyon, it blends classic heavy metal, slow thrash and doom, with the unique vocal imprint of Fenriz, evoking Isengard and Darkthrone. Inspired by the 80s, the opus combines the influences of Candlemass, Metallica, Paradise Lost and Cathedral to create a sensational work rooted in the heritage of doom metal.
