Ending a three-year musical hiatus, Cœur de pirate returns with Cavale, her seventh album for which she wrote both lyrics and music.
On pop tracks that are by turns invigorating, exhilarating, and heartbreaking, she stages little sagas where the intimate becomes universal through fears, anxieties, and questions that everyone is likely to experience.
Always accompanied by Renaud Bastien, her longtime collaborator, she is also joined this time by Nicolas Subrechicot, known for his work with Zaho de Sagazan: together, they shaped an album between Cœur de pirate's two poles of life, Montreal and Paris.
