'Homo Alien' is the first album for which Peter Kingsbery is joined by singer-keyboardist Coralie Vuillemin and drummer Didier Strub. Despite this fresh blood, the distinctive sound of Cock Robin is immediately recognizable, which Peter Kingsbery calls "the universal melancholy that makes you believe in hope when there is none left." The title of the album 'Homo Alien,' a song co-written with Vuillemin, evokes science fiction books. It tells the story of a human who has left Earth and is trying to explain to an alien the violence and madness of men. "Be my friend homo alien. An American Pop-Rock band founded in the 80s in Los Angeles, Cock Robin quickly achieved international success with the hits "When Your Heart is Weak" and "The Promise You Made." Its singer Peter Kingsbery will rack up gold and platinum records with this band thanks to his superb voice and keen sense of composition and arrangement. In the 90s, he participated in Tycoon, the English adaptation of Starmania. He performed "Only The Very Best," which topped the charts in France. "This will be a different album from the others, as I decided to make it with two French people, Coralie Vuillemin (vocals/keyboards) and Didier Strub (drums). We worked on the arrangements together. And even three songs that I wrote with Coralie, one of which is titled like the album, Homo Alien. Sometimes I felt like I was at the beginning of my career, making an album as a group, with the desire to please myself and of course to please the audience, but also to make the other two members of the band happy. I wanted them to be proud of their album with me. I play bass, I write songs, and I also play electric guitar, and I based all my arrangements on that.
