Biffy Clyro returns with a 7th album that synthesizes their past records but is also more oriented towards pop! This new opus from Biffy Clyro, composed of visceral tracks as well as more pop ballads like the title ''Re-arrange'', is in a sense a current representation of everything the band has established since their beginnings in 2002 with the album "Blackened Sky", echoing influences as diverse as Deafheaven or the album "Songs From The Big Chair" by Tears For Fears, and opening up more to pop melodies and arrangements. "Ellipsis" follows the double album "Opposites" which reached number one in sales in the UK. As usual, Simon Neil (vocals/guitar) and brothers James (bass) and Ben (drums) Johnston composed this new record in the intimacy of their rehearsal studio. The recording then took place in Los Angeles with producer Rich Costey (Muse, My Chemical Romance, Sigur Ros).
