Of all his works, Rebel, true to his time, imagines that they can be performed \"in the manner of a play on the harpsichord.\" And why not on two harpsichords? The richness of four virtuosic hands bursts forth on the two historical harpsichords from the Château de Versailles, played here for the first time in a duo.
