Notice to connoisseurs, Notice to enthusiasts, Notice to the curious! A particularly interesting series of recordings of primary importance, fully remastered, most under the baton of Claudio Abbado, who sadly passed away recently. Rarities, such as Bach's "Brandenburg Concertos" and a selection of symphonic music by Mussorgsky (extracted from "Joshua", "Salammbo", "Oedipus in Athens", for example). Other precious rarities of course, Cherubini's "Medea", by Maria Callas at La Scala in Milan under the direction of Tulio Serafin - one will notice alongside her the young Renata Scotto, who will also become one of the greatest voices of our time. Finally, the great Maria Tipo on piano for Chopin and Mozart where she accompanies the violinist Uto Ughi, an immense violinist who was once a student of Enescu and Pablo Casals.
