Elemental Music, in collaboration with Universal Music Spain, is proud to present a new CD reissue of Colours, the fourth studio album by French singer CLAUDINE LONGET, originally released by A&M Records in 1968. Although perhaps better known for her involvement in the 1976 murder of her boyfriend, Olympic skier Spider Sabich, Longet recorded a series of sophisticated pop albums in the late 1960s that have long been cult favorites among genre enthusiasts. Colours is considered by true connoisseurs to be her best album, featuring arrangements by the great Nick DeCaro and production by the now-legendary Tommy LiPuma. Among the songs are smooth renditions of pop classics by Donovan, Simon & Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, and Randy Newman.
