La talentueuse chanteuse et musicienne brésilienne de Londres connue pour sa démarche musicale en constante ébullition a ensuite réalisé deux superbes albums obtenant un succès tant public que médiatique.Avec neuf chansons originales et trois reprises remarquables: "Mango Tree" (the song by Ursula Andress in the film "James Bond contre Dr No"), "Lightworks" (by the eccentric Raymond Scott, both a pioneer of 'exotica' and a precursor of electronic music in the 50s) and "It's Not Easy Being Green" (the song by Kermit the Frog in the Muppet Show), Cibelle publishes now her third album and takes us again to unprecedented sound shores.Cibelle recorded "Las Venus Resort Palace Hotel" in the studio set up in the basement of her London home, in a cabin deep in a bear-infested forest, on an island in western Canada, in Berlin, in Brussels and in her hometown of São Paulo. Among the guest musicians are Mocky, Josh Weller, Kristian Craig Robinson (Capitol K), Sam Genders (Tunng), Damian Taylor, Fernando Catatau and Pupilo (Nação Zumbi). The album was co-produced by Cibelle and Damian Taylor (the musical director of Björk). The mixing was done in Los Angeles by Thom Monahan (Au Revoir Simone, Devendra Banhart, Brightblack Morning Light).
