Description
Chuck's first album in four years draws inspiration from the cumbia bands he discovered in San Francisco clubs in the wake of the pandemic, while he was undergoing cancer treatment. This music was a source of joy for him during that difficult time. He then began playing with ¿Qiensave?, a cumbia band based in Salinas, California. The result: eleven new songs by Chuck Prophet, wrapped in a cumbia atmosphere.
