At the time, his music was described as cyber-jazz or even pop-techno. But labels would never manage to define the boundaries of his universe. "Bevilacqua": thirteen tracks, all beautiful, deep, and sublime. This album reveals that surprising sonic blend, dressed by that singular voice. Music critics raved and hailed Christophe as "the artist of all trends." He recorded "Rencontre à L'as Vega", a duet with one of his idols, Alan Vega of the band Suicide. Christophe then became one of the icons of French song. Fifteen years later, this record had become cult and unfortunately impossible to find. The artist decided to reissue it.
