The new album "Wonder Woman" by L'Arpeggiata and Christina Pluhar is entirely dedicated to women. The 16 tracks pay homage to Italian female composers of the 17th century and to strong-willed women represented in traditional Italian and Latin music: heroines, saints, witches, supernatural figures, and ordinary mortals.To narrate the story of these extraordinary women, Pluhar and L'Arpeggiata are accompanied by soprano Céline Scheen, mezzo-sopranos Luciana Mancini and Benedetta Mazzucato, as well as countertenor Vincenzo Capezzuto.These songs tell stories of extraordinary women, strong, courageous but also sad.Above all, there is the wonderful Mexican song "La Bruja" (The Witch), which symbolizes the freedom of all women at all times and in all cultures.Celebrate women in all their facets and with all their talents alongside Luciana Mancini, Céline Scheen, Benedetta Mazzucato, Vincenzo Capezzuto, Christina Pluhar and L'Arpeggiata!
