Description

The son of a music business veteran and a Broadway actress, Chris Cohen left Los Angeles to live in Vermont and has performed with The Curtains, Cryptacize, Deerhoof, and Natural Dreamers, and toured with White Magic, Cass McCombs, Haunted Graffiti, and Danielson. Between 2002 and 2008, he released 10 albums with different groups, culminating today in his first solo album, "Overgrown Path," under his own name. A singer (baritone) and drummer who offers psychedelic pop, he also readily plays bass, keyboards, and guitar. One can hear the best elements of Robert Wyatt, Mayo Thompson, Syd Barrett, and Jerry Garcia in his music.
