Description

«Musical love at first sight» is a way to describe the genesis of the duo formed by Chloé and Bulgarian percussionist Vassilena Serafimova. An impromptu meeting that has since transformed into a lasting collaboration, culminating in the release of their first joint album this autumn after four years of complicity on stage and in the studio.
Chloé and Vassilena Serafimova met in 2017, thanks to Sourdoreille who invited them to participate in their live electro-acoustic series Variations.
Their first album together, Sequenza, is the result of a harmonious collision between two worlds that are usually distant from each other: that of electronic music, generally associated with the chiaroscuro of clubs, and art music, which usually bathes in the light of prestigious concert halls. But while mixing genres is often a perilous exercise, in this case, it results in a powerful cocktail, as airy as it is melodic.
