LATIDOS means - in Spanish - heartbeats. Through warm and contemporary alternative Latin pop, Chicos y Mendez celebrates this vital pulse that arises when our stories resonate. Led by Belgian-Peruvian singer-songwriter David Méndez Yépez, Chicos y Mendez has been weaving connections between Latin American and European scenes for over ten years. The third album by Chicos y Mendez, Latidos is the most accomplished expression of this musical journey. Ten tracks, like so many heartbeats, destined to resonate together on stage. Written, recorded, and produced between Belgium, Peru, and Quebec, Latidos is enriched by the vibrations brought by collaborations with Boogát, a Quebecer of Mexican origin, and Belgian-Haitian singer ‘Nkey.
