Since 2002, and his first album "Harvest Time," Chezidek has steadily grown in stature. The Jamaican artist from St. Ann's Bay, who has had several hits, has worked with big names in reggae. Driven by Rastafari culture, the singer uses his angelic voice to serve justice and address political and spiritual topics. The Ligerians were formed in 2010 to accompany singer Rod Anton in the production of his first album "Reasonin'" and are the founders of the Soulnurse Records label. They have performed hundreds of concerts throughout Europe and have collaborated with many artists such as Joe Pilgrim, Patrice, Protoje, Orelsan, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Glenn Washington, and Marcus Gad. In June 2019, the band first accompanied Chezidek on the Jamaican artist's European tour. The spontaneous chemistry between the artists developed into a true understanding, which led to the album "Timeless," the fruit of their collaboration. This new album takes us on a journey between wisdom and joy of living in Chezidek's lyrics, enhanced by The Ligerians' new roots instrumentals. The nine tracks encourage us to reconsider the time given to us and do not fail to advocate love, simplicity of life, and respect for nature. A strong spiritual message that the Jamaican singer effortlessly delivers, so attached is he to Rasta values, which he testifies to in "I Love Jah." A timeless album that will undoubtedly transcend generations, just like reggae.
