There were plenty of venues for musicians to play, and most national radio stations, from Poland to Spain, from the UK to Italy, were keen to broadcast live performances regularly. Chet Baker spent part of his life in Lucca and Rome, Italy, where he participated in several sessions and sometimes recorded film soundtracks. Chet was constantly on the move, one day in Vienna (Austria), the next in Frankfurt (Germany), then the following week in Oslo (Norway), before heading to Gothenburg (Sweden) and then back to Germany; he was constantly playing, spreading his music, his beautiful sound, and his peaceful idea of life.
