Difficult to assign an age to the music of chest. as it seems to be in constant motion, a blend of spontaneous energy and timeless electricity. The band did not choose this name by chance: for years, its members have breathed music through every pore of their being, having bonded in the darkness and vibrations of the Supersonic, the heart of independent music in Paris, where they met and all worked. Even before releasing their first record, chest. was spotted by NME, which ranked them among the 100 to watch in 2025. A first EP in February 2025, All Good Things End (Howlin Banana), further boosts the band's credibility and popularity internationally at lightning speed. chest. opens for DITZ, Jehnny Beth, Heavy Lungs, or KNIVES, who welcome them with open arms into a thriving Anglo-Saxon scene. They can be seen at La Maroquinerie, Rock en Seine, ESNS, and in Great Britain. chest. transitions to adulthood without taking the time for adolescence. Each concert creates a snowball effect. The band is a stage revelation. In the fall of 2025, chest. begins recording its first album at the La Frette studio, known for hosting sessions by Nick Cave and Arctic Monkeys. The band, with a three-engineer lineup, self-produces there and opens up to new inspirations without renouncing the powerful and melodic noise rock of their beginnings. The work on the sound becomes more complex and personalized, revealing perfectly digested industrial, techno, and shoegaze influences. chest. embodies the future spearhead of a French rock scene that is no longer afraid of anything.
