Carlos Alberto García Moreno, better known by his stage name Charly García, is an Argentine singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, considered one of the most important rock musicians in Argentina and Latin America. Nicknamed "the father of national rock", he is recognized for the complexity of his compositions, which explore genres such as folk rock, progressive rock, symphonic rock, jazz, new wave and many others. His lyrics are renowned for their spirit of protest and their critique of contemporary Argentine society, particularly during the period of the military dictatorship, and reflect his rebellious and extravagant personality. This album is undoubtedly his most accomplished and coherent work (in the best sense of the word, of course!) and contains some of his most famous tracks, such as "No Voy en Tren" and "Rezo por Vos". With a few exceptions, García plays all the instruments on all the tracks, except for the drums. If you are a fan of Soda Stereo, do not miss this album.
