Trio Of Trios is the result of a vast project undertaken by musician Charles Lloyd. Presented as a box set, it includes three albums, which represent a skillful change of musical context within a different trio setting. This 3-volume set features a series of collaborations. The first in the series, Trios: Chapel, spotlights guitarist Bill Frisell and bassist Thomas Morgan. The second, Trios: Ocean, features guitarist Anthony Wilson and pianist Gerald Clayton. The third and final volume, Trios: Sacred Thread, includes guitarist Julian Lage and percussionist Zakir Hussain.
