For several years, Charles De Goal, who wouldn't perform live until 1985, maintained anonymity: no one knew who was behind the singer, and rumors abounded. Patrick Blain initially launched Charles De Goal as a pseudonym for his performances. Charles De Goal's first album, titled Algorythmes, was released in 1980 by the French label New Rose. It would influence an entire generation, and not just in France. For the first time, this mythical debut album by Charles De Goal, released in the early 80s on the NEW ROSE label, is re-released on vinyl with bonus tracks. The album cover also features a variant compared to the original. One of post-punk's essential references is finally back on shelves!
