Chantal Goya, before her brilliant career as an artist for young audiences, recorded about twenty pop songs between 1964 and 1967.
In 1964, returning from London where she completed her journalism studies, Chantal Goya met Daniel Fillipachi thanks to J.J. Debout.
Fillipachi then offered her a trial on a song, and J.J. Debout wrote "C'est bien Bernard," the first of the 20 songs.
Mickey Baker, the great American guitarist, and his wife Barbara Baker were chosen to oversee the artistic direction and arrangements.
1965: Jean-Luc Godard, after seeing Chantal on TV, offered her a role in his next film "Masculin Féminin" and included several songs in it. Chantal filmed with Marlène Jobert and Jean-Pierre Léaud, and the film was released in June 1966. She even won the Best Actress Award at the Naples Festival that same year.
"Tu m'as trop menti" will soon be synchronized in a highly anticipated American film.
