Céline Rudolph, a versatile artist, has been one of the dynamic driving forces of jazz singing in Germany and Europe for decades. In her new album "SONIQS", she innovates with a new group, a new way of writing songs, and new sounds. She doesn't just step out of her comfort zone; she marks the unexplored space song by song, line by line, measure by measure. The experienced performer transforms her voice into an instrument and arranges it between trumpet, flute or saxophone, piano, and an indefinable background noise. Céline Rudolph already has good experience with this way of working live. Indeed, she has been playing for about three years with the group heard on "SONIQS". With trumpeter and pianist Sebastian Studnitzky, saxophonist and flutist Regis Molina, and drummer and multi-instrumentalist Sebastian Merk, she has merged into a solid unit in whose DNA the free choice of direction was integrated from the start.
