"Neverendless" is Cave's second release on Drag City after the "Pure Moods" EP. It's the band's first recording as a quartet. The result is a more concise record than any previous Cave album. Their sound is thicker, denser, yet gains in clarity. Instrument-wise, organ, guitar, bass, and drums are all present. Whatever one might say about their music and what has changed—repetition, density, etc.—Cave doesn't disappoint and continues to do what they've always done: make the listener groove.
