Description

Hailing from St Etienne, Pier and Flo have, in just a few years, built a pop, mysterious, and refined musical world, a savory blend of their common influences ranging from classical composers like Bach, Beethoven, Saint-Saëns, and Chopin to New Wave artists like Depeche Mode, Eurythmics, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. After a notable appearance on the show X-Factor, where their ambitious cover of Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" captivated both audience and jury, they followed up in 2014 with the release of their debut album, produced by Tiery-F (Tal, Shy'm), on My Major Company, where they still hold the record for fundraising with €100,000 raised in just 4 days! After numerous concerts across France, including opening acts for Florent Mothe and Ysa Ferrer, and composing music for fashion shows by designer Eymeric François, the duo Cassandre is currently working on their second album. To tide over their many fans, Pier and Flo have chosen to release a re-edition of their first album (on CD and vinyl) packed with numerous bonuses: the unreleased track "Paris la nuit," originally written for Eurovision, remixes of their songs "Ma Révolution" and "Non Mais Je Rêve," and finally eight covers of tracks by LP, Robyn Schulz, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Calogero, Benjamin Biolay, Lara Fabian, and Etienne Daho.
